The Noble Shaykh Muḥammad Ibn Sāliḥ al-‘Uthaymīn (may Allāh have mercy upon him) stated:
The one who has evil thoughts about his Lord has gone clearly astray when he has said: Don’t have a lot of children, it will cause your provisions to be restricted! By the Lord of the throne they have lied. When the people have a lot of children Allāh increases their provisions. That’s because there’s no creature upon the earth except that its provisions is upon Allāh. Therefore the provisions of your children are upon Allāh (‘azza wa jall). He is the one who opes up the doors of provision in order that you spend upon them. Continue reading
Shaykhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (raḥimahullâh) was asked about a Christian woman whose husband is a Muslim.
Question: She (the Christian woman) died while being seven months pregnant. Is she to be buried with the Muslims or with the Christians?
Answer: She is not to be buried in the graveyard of the Muslims nor in the graveyard of the Christians. That is because there is a Muslim and a Kāfir united together (in her). Therefore the Kāfir is not to be buried with the Muslims and the Muslim is not to be buried with the Kuffār. Rather she is to be buried by herself and her back is to be turned to the Qiblah (direction of prayer, which is Makkah). That is because the face of the child (in the womb of the mother) is (facing) towards her back. Therefore if she is buried like that, the face of the Muslim child (in her womb) is facing towards the Qiblah. Also the child is considered to be a Muslim due to the Islam of his father even if his mother is a Kāfirah according to the consensus of the scholars. Continue reading

السؤال: ونحييكم أيضاً. فضيلة الشيخ، هذه هي رسالة طويلة وردت من أحد المستمعين لهذا البرنامج الذي يُكثر من الثناء على برنامج نور على الدرب، ويقول: إذا وضع الزوج ثدي زوجته في فمه على سبيل الاستمتاع أربع مرات فهل تحرم عليه أم لا؟
الجواب: الحمد لله، أباح الله عز وجل للزوج أن يستمتع بزوجته كيف شاء حتى في كيفية الإتيان، فإن الله تعالى يقول: ﴿نساؤكم حرثٌ لكم فأتوا حرثكم أنى شئتم﴾ لكن انتبه لقول ﴿فأتوا حرثكم﴾ فإن الحرث هو محل البذر والزرع، وذلك هو الفرج، فيجوز للإنسان أن يستمتع بزوجته حال الجماع في الفرج من قُبل يعني سواء أتى من جهة الأمام أو من جهة الخلف، أو أتاها وهي قائمة أو مضطجعة أو على أي حالٍ كانت بشرط أن يكون ذلك في الفرج، وكذلك يستمتع بها بالضم والتقبيل والمباشرة كيف شاء، ليس في ذلك حصر، إلا أنه يحرم عليه أن يطأها في حال الحيض أو أن يطأها في الدبر مطلقاً. وعلى هذه القاعدة العامة نقول: إذا استمتع الرجل بالتقام ثدي امرأته فلا حرج عليه في ذلك، ولا تحرم عليه به Continue reading
The Noble Scholar Shaykh Muḥammad Ibn Sâliḥ al-‘Uthaymīn (may Allāh have mercy upon him) stated:
The callers to Allah are divided into two categories: 1) One who (truly) calls to Allāh 2) One who calls to other than Him. The one who (truly) calls to Allāh: He is one who is sincere who wants to connect the people to Allah. The one who calls to other than Allāh: He can be one who calls to himself. He calls to the truth in order that he is magnified and respected amongst the people. For this you find him becoming upset when the people do not do what he commands them with and he doesn’t become upset when they embark upon a prohibition that is greater than it (i.e. that which he commanded them with). However he does not call to the abandonment of it (i.e. the prohibition.

Question: Which of the two is more severe in punishment, the disobedient or the people of innovation?
Answer: The people of innovation have more of a severe punishment because the matter of innovation is more severe than the matter of disobedience. The affairs of innovation are more beloved to the shaytān than the acts of disobedience. That is due to the fact that the disobedient one repents (from his sins), whereas the person of innovation rarely repents due to him thinking that he is upon truth, contrary to the one who is disobedient, for he (the disobedient) knows that he is disobedient and that he is committing an act of disobedience. The Noble Imam, Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen (may Allah preserve him) stated:
Many from amongst the students of knowledge have concern for the Sunnah and its explanation along with knowing its men (from the chains of narrations) and its sciences (or terminology). However if you were to ask him about a verse from the Book of Allah, you will see that he is ignorant of it. This is a big mistake. It is a must that the Book and the Sunnah are two wings for you, O Student of knowledge.
