The Noble Scholar Shaykh Ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy upon him) said:
The legislation for the Muslim when he hears a benefit is that he is to convey to others. Likewise the Muslimah conveys to others what she has heard from the knowledge due to the statement of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم:

أحرص على إفادة إخوانك
ﻗَـﺎﻝَ ﺍلشيخ ﺑﻦُ ﺑـﺎﺯٍ – ﺭَﺣِﻤﻪُ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ –
“ﻭﺍﻟﻤﺸﺮﻭﻉ ﻟﻠﻤﺴﻠﻢ ﺇﺫﺍ ﺳﻤﻊ ﺍﻟﻔﺎﺋﺪﺓ ﺃﻥ ﻳﺒﻠﻐﻬﺎ ﻏﻴﺮﻩ، ﻭﻫﻜﺬﺍ ﺍﻟﻤﺴﻠﻤﺔ ﺗﺒﻠﻎ ﻏﻴﺮﻫﺎ ﻣﺎ ﺳﻤﻌﺖ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻌﻠﻢ ﻟﻘﻮﻝ ﺍﻟﻨﺒﻲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ : « ﺑﻠﻐﻮﺍ ﻋﻨﻲ ﻭﻟﻮ ﺁﻳﺔ » ، ﻭﻛﺎﻥ ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ﺇﺫﺍ ﺧﻄﺐ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺱ ﻳﻘﻮﻝ : « ﻟﻴﺒﻠﻎ ﺍﻟﺸﺎﻫﺪ ﺍﻟﻐﺎﺋﺐ ﻓﺮﺏ ﻣﺒﻠﻎ ﺃﻭﻋﻰ ﻣﻦ ﺳﺎﻣﻊ ».

:قال العلامة الشيخ ربيع المدخلي حفظه الله
فقامت هذه الفرقة الناجية المنصورة برفع راية الكتاب والسنة دعوة وجهادا وأمرا بالمعروف ونهيا عن المنكر، ومن ذلك ذبهم عن كتاب الله وسنة رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم والتفريق بين الهدى والضلال والحق والباطل، وبيان أهل الحق وموالاتهم، وبيان أهل الباطل من الفرق الضالة فرقة فرقة، وبيان فساد عقائدهم ومناهجهم والتحذير منهم بالحجج والبراهين في مؤلفات كثيرة شهيرة، يعرفها العلماء وطلاب العلم. واستمر الصراع بين أهل السنة وبين أهل البدع والضلال إلى يومنا هذا. يؤلف أهل السنة المؤلفات في بيان أهل البدع والضلال وبدعهم وضلالاتهم قياما بواجب النصح للمسلمين، وحماية وذبا عن الدين مما أوهن أهل الضلال، وكسر شوكتهم، وبصر الناس بضلالهم وضلال عقائدهم ومناهجهم. فلم يعجب هذا الجهاد فئة ممن يتاجر بالدين، ويشتري بآيات الله ودينه ثمنا قليلا، فتصدوا لحرب أهل السنة بأساليب ماكرة، يخجل منها أهل البدع والضلال من الكذب والتلاعب بالكلام والتأصيلات الباطلة المناهضة لأصول أهل السنة ومناهجهم؛ Continue reading
This is a benefit from last night’s class in which our Shaykh, the Allāmah Muḥammad Ibn ‘Alī Ibn Ādam Al-Etiyūbī (may Allāh preserve him) mentioned in his explanation of Ḥadeeth #2217 of Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim:
A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, “Indeed my brother is having a stomach ailment.” The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said, “Give him honey.” So the man gave him (his brother) honey. Then the man came to him (the Messenger ﷺ) again and said, “Indeed I gave him the honey and it did not increase him except in stomach pains.” Continue reading

On the authority of Abu Al-Yusr Ka’b Ibn ‘Amru (may Allāh be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to supplicate with these words:
Oh Allah! I seek refuge with You from (dying due to the) destruction/collapsing (of a structure upon me). I seek refuge with You from (dying due to) deterioration. I seek refuge with You from (dying due to) drowning. I seek refuge with You from (dying due to) worry. I seek refuge with You from (dying due to) burning (alive). I seek refuge with you from (dying due to) decrepitude. I seek refuge with You from the Shayṭān taking me away (from the Straight Path) at the time of death. I seek refuge with You from dying on your path with my back turned (towards the enemy, running away from battle). I seek refuge with You from dying due to being stung/bit (by something poisonous). The time frame given to us to shorten the mustache, clip the nails, pluck the hairs of the armpit, and shave the pubic hairs is that we are not to leave it off for more than forty days.
