Qualities and Conditions of the Righteous Salafi Woman

Shaikh Muhammad Baazmool said:

The righteous Salafi woman:

  • It is not a condition that she has to know the various groups and parties
  • It is not a condition that she has to repeat the statements and phrases of the scholars of the Salaf
  • It is not necessary that she has to know the jarh (criticism) of so-and-so
  • It is not a condition that she has to know the Salafi scholars
  • It is not a condition that she has to know the prevalent affairs
  • It is not a condition that she has to fast the days of the full moon, nor every Monday and Thursday
  • Neither does she have to establish the night prayer every night

The Beneficial Love is the Religious Love and Not the Natural Love

Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Alee Ibn Aadam al-Etiyoobi (may Allah preserve him) mentioned a benefit from that which took place with the Prophet’s uncle Abu Taalib when he refused to say “Laa Ilaaha Illallaah”:

The beneficial love is the religious love and not the natural love. Indeed Abu Taalib used to love the Prophet with strong love. He used to give precedence to him over his own children. However, that didn’t benefit him since he didn’t love him with the legislated love which carries (a person) upon following him (i.e. the Prophet) and submitting to his legislation.
