When People See Evil And Do Not Change It, Allah Will Send Down His Punishment Upon Them All

Question posed to Imam Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy upon him):

How do we bring harmony between the statement of Allah:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ لا يَضُرُّكُمْ مَنْ ضَلَّ إِذَا اهْتَدَيْتُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعاً فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

“O you who believe! Take care of your own selves, [do righteous deeds, fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)]. If you follow the right guidance and enjoin what is right (Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbid what is wrong (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden) no hurt can come to you from those who are in error. The return of you all is to Allah, then He will inform you about (all) that which you used to do.” (al-Maa-idah: 105)

and the statement of the Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam):

Mustafa al-‘Adawee Has a Face (in favor) of the Hizbiyyeen From the Qutbiyyeen

Question Posed To The Noble Shaykh Khaalid Abu Abdil-’Alaa Khaalid Ibn Muhammad Ibn Uthmaan al-Misree (may Allaah preserve him)

Question:

May Allaah reward you with good. Some of those who have been afflicted with trial by way of Mustafaa al-‘Adawee basing it on him studying with Shaykh Muqbil (may Allaah have mercy upon him). What do you know about this man?

Answer:

Are the Books of Abu Ishaaq al-Huwaynee to be Benefited From?

Question Posed To The Noble Shaykh Khaalid Abu Abdil-‘Alaa Khaalid Ibn Muhammad Ibn Uthmaan al-Misree (may Allaah preserve him)

Question:

Are the books of Abu Ishaaq al-Huwaynee on the topic of the science of Hadeeth to be benefited from?

Answer:

The books are not to be benefited from as we have said. That’s because the man is not upon the Sunnah. Allaah has sufficed us with the books of the Ulamaa of Hadeeth. We are not in need of the books of this man. Continue reading →
