Question Posed To The Noble Shaykh Khaalid Abu Abdil-’Alaa Khaalid Ibn Muhammad Ibn Uthmaan al-Misree (may Allaah preserve him)

Question:

May Allaah reward you with good. Some of those who have been afflicted with trial by way of Mustafaa al-‘Adawee basing it on him studying with Shaykh Muqbil (may Allaah have mercy upon him). What do you know about this man?

Answer:

I swear by Allaah, that which I know about this man is that he has a face (in favor) of the Hizbiyyeen from the Qutbiyyeen and other than them. He is with them, he sits with them and praises them.  The  person is known by his companionship, as mentioned by Ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) and concurred by Imaam Ahmad (may Allaah have mercy upon him). The man is one who wavers. He is one who wavers in his Manhaj. He has some old speech which entails the maligning and speaking ill of Imaam al-Albaani (may Allaah have mercy on him). It has been said that he retracted (his position) or some of it. The opposite has also been said about this (matter) and Allaah knows best whether his retraction was truthful or not. However since a long time he has cultivated his students upon  maligning and speaking ill of Imaam al-Albaani (may Allaah have mercy on him) as well as Imaam Muqbil (may Allaah have mercy upon him). Based upon that Imaam Muqbil (may Allaah have mercy upon him) removed him. He removed his name from (the list of) his students before he died, and he didn’t mention him to be from among his students who are upon his Manhaj. Therefore may Allaah bless you and reward you with good.

سُئِلَ الشيخُ الفاضلُ أبو عبد الأعلى خالد بن محمد بن عثمان المصري – سدده الله في القول والعمل – : جزاكم الله خيرًا عندنا بعضُ المفتونين بمصطفى العدوي بحُجَّةِ أنه دَرَسَ عند الشيخ مقبل – رحمه الله – فماذا تعرفون عن هذا الرجل ؟

فأجاب – حفظه الله تعالى – : “واللهِ الذي أعرفُهُ عن هذا الرجلِ أنَّ وَجْهَهُ للحزبيين – من القطبيين وغيرِهم – ، وأنه مَعَهُمْ ، ويُجالِسُهُمْ ، ويَمدحُهُمْ ، والمرءُ يُعرفُ بِخِدْنِهِ ، كما قالَ ابنُ مسعودٍ – رضي الله عنه – ، وأقرَّهُ الإمامُ أحمد ، آه ، والرجلُ يعني متذبذب ، متذبذبٌ في منهجِه ، وله كلام قديم فيه غمزٌ ، وطعن في الإمام الألباني – رحمه الله تعال – ، قيلَ إنه تراجع ، إنه تراجعَ عن بعضِهِ ، وقيلَ بخلافِ هذا والله أعلم هل صَدَقَ تراجُعُهُ أم لا ؟! ، ولكن َّالرجل من قديم كان يُرَبِّي طُلَّابَهُ على الغمزِ ، والطعنِ في الإمام الألباني ، والإمام مقبل بن هادي – رحمه الله – لذلك الإمام مقبل – رحمه الله – حــ .. حَذَفَهُ ، حَذَفَ اسمَهُ من تلامذَتِهِ قبل أن يموت ، ولم يَذْكُرْهُ في آيش في التلامِذَة الذين على منهجِهِ ، فبارك الله فيكم ، وجزاكم الله خيرًا” اهـــ
