This Manner Of Dividing The Meat Has No Basis…

Imaam Al-Albaani (may Allaah have mercy upon him) stated:

It’s a must that something from the slaughtered animal be given in charity without designating a specific amount, as some have claimed. (They claimed that it be divided into) thirds: a third that the person eats during the Eid, a third that the person gives in charity, and a third that the person stores. This dividing of the meat into thirds has no origin. The case is only that the meat be divided into three categories (to be given), without designating the amount to be given. This is what has come (in the narration). This is because the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “I used to prohibit you from storing the meat of the slaughtered animal. Now eat, give in charity, and save some (of the slaughtered animal).” The Prophet didn’t designate a specific amount (to be given).  Continue reading →

For the One Who Didn’t Have the Ability to Make Hajj This Year

Al-Haafith Ibn Rajab (may Allah have mercy upon him) stated:

Whoever doesn’t have the ability to stand in ‘Arafah, then let him stand at the prescribed limits of Allah which he knows. Whoever doesn’t have the ability to spend the night in Muzdalifah, then let him spend the night upon the obedience of Allah in order that he gets closer to Him and to be near to Him. Whoever doesn’t have the ability to slaughter his sacrificial animal in Minaa, then let him slaughter his desires in order that he reaches that which is desired. Whoever doesn’t have the ability to reach the sacred house because he is far away from it, then let him intend the Lord of the house, for indeed He is closer to him than the jugular vein.

Indeed the people of innovation today are many and they fill the earth. The refuge is sought with Allah. We do not boycott them all. Indeed they are the focal point of our call. We call them to Allah with wisdom and beautiful preaching.

They Have In Them Knowledge, Justice and Mercy.

Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy upon him) stated:

As for the Imams of the Sunnah and the Jamaa’ah, the people of knowledge and Eemaan: They have in them knowledge, justice and mercy. They know the truth by which they are in agreement with the Sunnah, safe from the affairs of innovation. They are just with those who exit from it (i.e. The realm of the Sunnah), even if they (the ones who exited from the realm of the Sunnah) oppress them (the scholars). Continue reading →

The Allaamah Shaykh Rabee’ Ibn Haadi al-Madkhali (may Allah preserve him) stated:

The believer always fears that his state will change. It has been established on the authority of Aa’ishah and ‘Anas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) used to say:

((Oh turner of the hearts, establish my heart upon Your religion.))
