The Noble Shaykh Zayd al-Madkhalee (may Allah have mercy upon him) stated:
It is not befitting for the Muslims that their brotherhood/sisterhood is merely speech and smiling, (when in reality) there exists between them opposition in the hearts from which the tongues speak. Continue reading
:قال الشيخ العلامة زيد المدخلي -رحمه الله وغفر له
ثم إنه لا يليق بالمسلمين أن تكون أخوتهم مجرد كلام وابتسام، مع مخالفة ما في القلوب لما تنطق به الألسنة، بل يجب أن تكون أخوتهم صادقة في الظاهر والباطن، ولا يحمل الأحقاد أخ مؤمن لإخوانه المؤمنين، وإن حصل بينهم ما حصل من مخالفات في حظوظ النفس أو حظوظ الدنيا؛ فإنها لا تخول له أن يحقد على إخوانه المسلمين، أو يبغضهم، أو يسيء بهم الظنون، بل يجب أن يكون مخلصاً في الأخوة وصادقا فيها حتى تجتمع القلوب، وتأتلف على الحق

The Noble Shaykh Saalih Aal Ash-Shaykh (may Allah preserve him) mentioned some of the rights of brotherhood:
