The Noble Shaykh Rabee’ Ibn Haadi al-Madkhali (may Allah preserve him) stated:

Indeed the people of innovation today are many and they fill the earth. The refuge is sought with Allah. We do not boycott them all. Indeed they are the focal point of our call. We call them to Allah with wisdom and beautiful preaching.

As for the heads who arrange their affairs and the callers to falsehood in their papers, magazines, books, recordings, lectures, seminars and websites; these are the ones who are combated. They are to be warned against. They are not to be sat with, their works are not to be read from and they are are not to be benefited from.

As for their poor deceived common folk, we call these individuals to Allah with wisdom and beautiful preaching. This speech is supported by many statements from the Imams of the Sunnah as well as their dealings (with the people of innovation). They called the common folk to Allah and they did not boycott them like they boycotted the leaders of evil and misguidance.

Understand this!! This is in order that some of you don’t understand that everyone who has fallen into innovation that he is to be boycotted and that’s it; no speaking with him, no calling him, nothing! No, the call (to guidance) is established, even with the disbelievers, the Jews and Christians. The call (to the guidance) is also established for the people of innovation. Now the person is not to water down (the principles of the religion) and he goes amongst them, mixing with them and leaning towards them until the point where he becomes wasted. Be sincere for Allah. Try to save this person who has fallen into misguidance by way of the Kitaab and Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah sallallaah alayhi wa sallam, by way of a good presentation accompanied with the proofs and evidences. Indeed this is a reason from the reasons of guidance. The guidance of many people in many lands has taken place by way of this (method).

Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahaab came and the Dunyaa was in a state of darkness. He strove hard by calling to Allah and Allah guided many people by way of him. They were grave-worshipers, superstitious, misguided and they became guided by way of him. Likewise Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah and the Imams of the Daw’ah in India from amongst the Salafis. They came and the Dunyaa was in a state of darkness. They spread this call and millions responded. Allah said:

{ادع إلى سبيل ربك بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة وجادلهم بالتي هي أحسن إن ربك هو أعلم بمن ضل عن سبيله وهو أعلم بالمهتدين}
“Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Quran) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.” (Soorah an-Nahl: 125)

هـجـــر أهـــــل البــــــدع
نحن لا نهجـر الجمـيـــع
قال فضيلة الشيخ العلامة /
ربيع بن هادي عمير المدخلي حفظه الله:

(إن أهل البدع الآن كثير يملئون الأرض والعياذ بالله! فنحن لا نهجر الجميع إنما هم محل دعوتنا؛ ندعوهم إلى الله بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة، وأما الرءوس المدبرة والدعاة إلى الباطل في صحفهم ومجلاتهم وكتبهم وأشرطتهم ومحاضراتهم وندواتهم ومواقعهم، هؤلاء يحاربون ويحذر منهم ولا يجالسون ولا يقرأ لهم ولا يستفاد منهم….

وعوامهم المساكين المخدوعون هؤلاء ندعوهم إلى الله بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة، وهذا الكلام يؤيده كلام كثير من أئمة السنة ومعاملتهم؛ أنهم يدعون العوام إلى الله -تبارك وتعالى- ولا يهجرونهم كما يهجرون أئمة السوء وأئمة الشر وأئمة الضلال.

افهموا هذا! ؛ حتى لا يفهم بعضكم أن كل من وقع في بدعة بت هجره لا كلام معه ولا دعوة ولا شيء! لا، الدعوة قائمة حتى للكفار ولليهود والنصارى، والدعوة قائمة لأهل البدع أيضا لكن لا يتميع الإنسان فيذهب يداخلهم ويأنس إليهم حتى يضيع؛ تخلص لله عز وجل وتحاول إنقاذ هذا الذي وقع في الضلال بكتاب الله وبسنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بالعرض الجيد المقرون بالحجة والبرهان؛ فإن هذا سبب من أسباب الهداية؛ وقد حصل به هداية الكثير في كثير من البلدان.

جاء الإمام محمد بن عبدالوهاب والدنيا مظلمة فجاهد بالدعوة إلى الله -تبارك وتعالى- وهدى الله على يديه الكثير؛ كانوا قبوريين وخرافيين وضالين واهتدوا على يديه، وشيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية كذلك، وأئمة الدعوة في الهند من السلفيين؛ جاءوا والدنيا مظلمة ونشروا هذه الدعوة فاستجاب لهم الملايين، قال تعالى:
{ادع إلى سبيل ربك بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة وجادلهم بالتي هي أحسن إن ربك هو أعلم بمن ضل عن سبيله وهو أعلم بالمهتدين}
[النحل: (125).
