Cursing the One who has Cursed the People of Knowledge

Question posed to the Noble Shaykh Rabee’ al-Madkhalee (may Allah preserve him):

Q. Is it permissible for us to curse the one who the people of knowledge have cursed?
A. Cursing, don’t curse. However if the person has been declared to be an innovator and there’s a need to clarify his state for the purpose of advising the people, then clarify. You say about him: “So and so is an innovator. So and so has this affair with him.” As for cursing, then no, there’s to be no cursing. Don’t curse him. If the scholar has cursed him, you don’t curse him. If the scholar has ruled upon him with a ruling that is true concerning him and you see that the people are being harmed by way of him, then it is upon you to clarify his state in order that the people can be aware of his evil and be safe from his evil. As for cursing him, then no, and (know that) it doesn’t benefit. Continue reading

Balance in Worship and Worldly Life

The Noble Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy upon him) stated:

The completeness of one being religious is not by way of tiring oneself out in the performance of the acts of worship and keeping away from the lawful pleasures of the worldly life. The path of the Prophet (sallallaaahu alayhi wa sallam) is the most complete path due to what it consist of from giving oneself its portion of rest and (enjoyment of) the lawful pleasures along with worshiping Allah (azza wa jall).

Advice to the Salafiyyeen in the West – Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Rabee’ (AUDIO)

Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Rabee’ (may Allah preserve him) advising the salafiyyeen in the west and addressing some of the problematic issues being faced today:

Heartfelt advice from our noble shaykh and father-figure, Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Rabee’ Al-Madkhali – may Allah preserve him – taken from a tele-link event with Ulama Audio on August 1st, 2015.

This advice was aimed at his children and his students from among the Salafis of the west specifically the UK and America.

We ask Allah to reward the shaykh immensely for his efforts, and to make this beneficial for all.

Important Advice From the Imaam, the ‘Allaamah Rabee’ al-Madkhali (hafidhahullaah)

Important advice from the Imaam of Jarh wat-Ta’deel (criticism and praise), the ‘Allaamah Rabee al-Madkhali (hafidhahullaah) for his children everywhere:

بِسْم الله الرحمن الرحيم
:الحمد لله و الصلاة و السلام على رسول الله و على آله و صحبه و من اتبع هداه، أما بعد

Indeed I advise myself and all of the Muslims, and the Salafis especially, to have Taqwaa of Allah (The Glorified and Most High), to cling to the Rope of Allah (The Mighty and Majestic), to establish brotherhood, especially between the Salafis, to stick together and have cooperation between each other upon righteousness and Taqwaa, and to stay far away from the causes of differing — may Allah bless you all — because this (differing) tarnishes the D’awah of the Salafis, tarnishes their image, and makes their enemies happy.

So I advise the Salafis to have Taqwaa of Allah (The Glorified and Most High). And to strive adamantly in establishing love, brotherhood, mercy, and closeness between themselves. And to stay away from the causes of differing. And whoever makes an error from the Salafis, he should not be defamed openly. Rather he should only be advised by those people of sound intellect and correct knowledge; he should be advised with wisdom and a good admonition. Continue reading

Mockery of the People of Knowledge

A question was posed to The Noble Shaykh Muqbil Ibn Haadee al-Waadi’ee (may Allah have mercy upon him):

What is the ruling for the one who makes mockery of the students of knowledge and the ‘ulamaa, describing them with harshness, sternness, and [saying] that they do not understand the modern day affairs?

The Gatherings of Knowledge by Ahlus Sunnah Enrage the Innovators

Abu Yusuf Khaleefah wrote:

We prayed in the Prophet’s Masjid last night [April 16th, 27th of Jumaada ath-Thaani] and on our way out to head to the class of the Noble Shaykh Rabee’ (may Allah preserve him), we passed by the gathering of knowledge being held by the muhaddith of Madeenah, Shaykh ‘Abdul-Muhsin al-Badr (may Allah preserve him).
