Obligation of The Believer in The Month of Ramadan

The Noble Scholar Shaykh Ibn Baaz  (may Allah have mercy upon him) stated:

That which is obligatory upon the believer is to stay away from the prohibitions of Allāh. The acts of disobedience are prohibited at all times and in all places. However, in this noble month (Ramaḍān), it’s obligatory that staying away (from that which Allāh has prohibited) is even more so. Continue reading

Doubt Presented by the Grave Worshiper

The Noble Scholar Shaykh Abdul-Azeez Ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy upon him) stated:

There’s a doubt presented by the grave worshipers, and it is: The presence of the grave of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم in his Masjid. The response to that is: The companions رضي الله عنهم did not bury him in his Masjid; they only buried him in the house of ‘Aaishah رضي الله عنها. Continue reading

Be Keen On Benefiting Your Brothers And Sisters

The Noble Scholar Shaykh Ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy upon him) said:

The legislation for the Muslim when he hears a benefit is that he is to convey to others. Likewise the Muslimah conveys to others what she has heard from the knowledge due to the statement of the Prophet  صلى الله عليه وسلم:

ﺑﻠﻐﻮﺍ ﻋﻨﻲ ﻭﻟﻮ ﺁﻳﺔ
Convey on me even if it is one matter. (Sahih al-Bukhari 3461)

Also when he would address the people in a sermon he would say:

ﻟﻴﺒﻠﻎ ﺍﻟﺸﺎﻫﺪ ﺍﻟﻐﺎﺋﺐ ﻓﺮﺏ ﻣﺒﻠﻎ ﺃﻭﻋﻰ ﻣﻦ ﺳﺎﻣﻊ
Let the one who witnesses this speech convey to the one who is absent, for it is possible that the one who the information has been conveyed to has more understanding than the one who actually heard it. (Sahih al-Bukhari 1741)

The Character Of The Prophet In Ramaḍân

The Noble Scholar Shaykh Ibn Bāz (may Allâh have mercy upon him) stated:

Being that Allâh created His Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) upon the most complete description and the most noble of it as has come in the narration of Abu Hurayrah (may Allâh be pleased with him) the Prophet  (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

Indeed I have only be sent to complete the noble character.

The Messenger of Allâh (صلى الله عليه وسلم) was the most generous of all the people. Likewise he is the most noble, most courageous and most complete in all of the praiseworthy characteristics. His generosity consisted of all the categories of generosity. His generosity use to increase in Ramaḍân more so than other months just as the generosity of his Lord increases in it. Continue reading

Do Not Blame Your Lord

The Noble Shaykh Ibn Bāz (may Allāh have mercy upon him) stated:

When the need (you have) is delayed (from being fulfilled), do not blame your Lord. Do not say: Why, why (haven’t you answered my du’ā and fulfilled my need) my Lord. Rather, it is upon you to return back to yourself and take account of yourself, for indeed your Lord is All-Wise and All-Knowing. Therefore, return back to yourself and look. Continue reading
