An Abundance of Followers or a Lack Thereof is Not The Measure of The Truthfulness of The Caller

Al-‘Allaamah, al-Imaam, Shaykh al-Albaani (may Allah have mercy upon him) stated:

Indeed, the matter of having an abundance of followers or a small amount is not the measuring tool to know if the caller is upon truth or falsehood. The Prophets (‘alayhim as-salaatu was salaam), despite their call being the same and their religion being the same, differed in relation to the number of followers they had, some having many and others having few. There was even amongst them a prophet who only one man believed in. Rather, there was amongst them (a prophet) who didn’t have anyone with him. In that, there is a serious lesson for the caller and those who are being called in this (day and) time. It is upon the caller to remember this reality and put a foot forward for the sake of calling to Allah. He should not care about the amount of those who follow him being small. This is because nothing is upon him except clear conveyance (of the message). He has a beautiful example for himself in the Prophets of the past, those who didn’t have anyone except a man or two with them.

Four States Of The Intention Regarding Wudoo’

Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy upon him) stated:

The intention (in relation to making Wudoo’) is of four states:

1. The person carries with him the intention by remembering it from the beginning of the Wudoo’ to the end of it. This is the most complete of the (four) states.

2. The intention leaves his mind. However, he doesn’t intend to cut off the intention of making Wudoo’. This is called “having the ruling of the intention being present (while doing the act).” Meaning that he built upon the first ruling and remained upon it. Continue reading

At-Tadarruj Fee ad-Da’wah (Gradual Steps Taken In Calling to Islaam)

  بسم الله الرحمن الرحِيم

Al-Imaam al-Bukhaaree (rahimahullaah) stated:

Chapter: The One Who Leaves Off Some of The Choices Out of Fear That Some of The People Will Not Understand and Fall Into That Which Is More Severe Than It.

On the authority of al-Aswad, who said: Ibn az-Zubair said to me: “‘Aaishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) used to secretly tell you many things. What did she narrate to you concerning the Ka’bah?” I said: She said to me that the Prophet (salallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

(( Oh A’aishah, had it not been for your people being new (to Islaam) and leaving off disbelief, I would tear the Ka’bah down and make for it two doors: a door for the people to enter into and a door for them to exit from. ))

The Actions Give The Tazkiyyah

Shaykh Ahmad Baazmool mentioned:

The tazkiyyah of a person is based upon his actions and statements that are in agreement with the Salaf from the aspect of Aqeedah, Manhaj, truthfulness and justice. It is as our caring father Rabee’ al-Madkhalee has stated: Indeed, the actions of the person are that which give him a tazkiyyah. It is that which proves his truthfulness from his un-truthfulness.

Source: Shaykh Ahmad Baazmool mentioned this in his comments on the praise of Shaykh Rabee’ for Shaykh Ahmad as-Subay’ee and Shaykh Muhammad al-‘Anjaree, may Allaah preserve them all.
