All praise is due to Allah, may the Salāh and Salām be upon the Messenger of Allāh. As to what follows:

Do not look down upon the good in any way, for Allāh is the one who is vast in virtue. He bestows His virtue upon whomever He wills. The good deed is counted as ten good deeds like it up to seven hundred fold, to more than that by many times. Rather the increase of the one good deed could reach the amount of being two million good deeds. And Allāh is the possessor of magnificent virtue. On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allāh be pleased with him) he said: The Messenger of Allāh (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ عز وجل يُضَعِّفُ الْحَسَنَةَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ أَلْفَيْ أَلْفِ حَسَنَةٍ

Indeed Allāh, the Mighty and Majestic, increases the good deed for the believer to be two million good deeds. It is narrated by Imām Ahmad in the Musnad, Ibn Abee ad-Dunyā in at-Tawbah, Ibn Jarīr in his Tafsīr, Ibn Abī Hātim in his Tafsīr, Abu al-Hasan al-Qizwīnī in Amālee, Abu al-Hasan al-Ikhmīmī in al-Fawāʾid al-Muntaqāh, al-Bayhaqī in az-Zuhd al-Kabīr, Abu Bakr ibn Khallād an-Nusaybee in his Fawāʾid, all of them by route of Abu ‘Uthmān an-Nahdī on Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) raised up (to the Prophet sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam). Those who narrated on Abu ‘Uthmaan an-Nahdee are: ʿImrān ibn Bashīr al-Halabī and he is good in his narrations. Alī Ibn Zayd ibn Jad’ān and he is weak but it is a slight weakness. Lastly, Ziyād ibn Abī Ziyād al-Jasās and he is weak. Therefore the narration is authentic on Abu ‘Uthmān an-Nahdee by way of combining these three (narrators) adding to the narration of Sufyān ibn Husayn on Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) in (the book) al-B’ath by Ibn Abī Dāwūd and its chain of narrators is cut off. Allāh knows best. May the Salāh and Salām of Allāh be upon our Prophet Muhammad.

الحسنة يضاعفها الله بفضله إلى مليوني حسنة لمن يشاء

الحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله أما بعد:

فلا تحقرن من المعروف شيئاً، فالله عز وجل واسع الفضل، يجود بفضله على من يشاء، فالحسنة بعشرة أمثالها إلى سبعمائة ضِعف، إلى أضعاف مضاعفة، بل قد يصل مضاعفة الحسنة الواحدة إلى مليوني حسنة، والله ذو الفضل العظيم.

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: “إِنَّ اللَّهَ عز وجل يُضَعِّفُ الْحَسَنَةَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ أَلْفَيْ أَلْفِ حَسَنَةٍ” .

رواه الإمام أحمد في المسند، وابن أبي الدنيا في التوبة، وابن جرير في تفسيره، وابن أبي حاتم في تفسيره، وأبو الحسن القزويني في أماليه، وأبو الحسن الإخميمي في الفوائد المنتقاة، والبيهقي في الزهد الكبير، وأبو بكر بن خلاد النصيبي في فوائده كلهم من طريق أبي عثمان النهدي عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه به مرفوعاً.

ورواه عن أبي عثمان النهدي: عمران بن بشر الحلبي وهو حسن الحديث، وعلي بن زيد بن جدعان وهو ضعيف ضعفا يسيراً، وزياد بن أبي زياد الجصاص وهو ضعيف.

فالحديث صحيح عن أبي عثمان النهدي باجتماع هؤلاء الثلاثة، إضافة إلى رواية سفيان بن حسين عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عند ابن أبي داود في البعث وسنده منقطع.
