The Calamity of Opposing Clear Proofs

The Imām Rabī’ Ibn Hādi al-Madkhali said:

A calamity right now from the trials and tribulations that is even with some of the Salafis is that they adhere to the statement of so and so and so and so even if the one who opposes him has clear proofs and evidences.

This demeanor is from the ways of the people of misguidance; the Salafi Manhaj does not acknowledge these ways no matter what station/rank a person has reached.

If he has issued a verdict or gave a statement which has no evidence for it, then it is not permissible to accept his speech. We respect him and we pardon him and the likes of it; however, everybody’s speech is to be taken and rejected except the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and whoever else has with him evidence from Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ then (likewise) his speech is not permissible to reject.
