The Noble Scholar Rabī’ Ibn Hādī (may Allāh preserve him) stated:
Upon you is being humble for Allāh and (know that) the religion is sincere advice. When your brother advises you or your father or one who is older than you in age or younger – even if there are degrees/level between you and him – if he advised for Allah, accept (the advice); be humble and do not reject the truth. For indeed, arrogance is looking down upon the people and the rejection of the truth. Therefore, do not look down upon the people nor should you reject the truth.
