A Blessed Sitting With Our Noble Shaykh, Al-‘Allaamah Rabee’ Bin Haadee al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullaah)

الحمد الله عزّ في علاه الذي منّ علينا بجلسة مع عالم من علماء أهل السنة، لكي يحكم ويسعى في حل الخلافات التي حصلت منذ سنوات عديدة  بين بعض طلاب العلم السلفيين في أمريكا، و هذه الخلافات قد تأثر بها السلفيون في الغرب بشكل عام. و هذا خلاصة النقاط الرئيسية من الجلسة

All praise is for Allah the Almighty Who allowed us to sit with a scholar from the scholars of Ahl-us-Sunnah to judge and aid in bringing about a resolution to the differing which has been occurring in America over the past few years between some of the Salafi students of knowledge, which as a result adversely affected the Salafis in the West as a whole. This is a summary of the main points of the meeting:

كان الشيخ ربيع ( حفظه الله) يرحب بنا في بيته و يتلطّف بالإخوة من الطرفين

Shaykh Rabee’ (hafidhahullaah) welcomed us all into his home and was pleasant towards both parties.

بعد أن سمع الشيخ ربيع منهم سأل أبا محمد الجاميكي و أبا يوسف خليفة ماذا حصل من نتيجة التحذيرات على الدعوة؟ فأخبراه بأن السلفيين افترقوا بسببها

After listening to that which both parties had to say, Shaykh Rabee’ (hafidhahullaah) asked Abu Muhammad al-Jamaiky and Abu Yusuf Khaleefah, “What effect have these warnings had upon the da’wah?” They both informed him that it caused division between the Salafis.

سأل الشيخ ربيع أبا يوسف و أبا محمد الجاميكي عن الإخوة الآخرين هل عندهم بدعة؟ فأجابا الشيخَ قائلا: لا يا شيخنا هم سلفيون

Shaykh Rabee’ (hafidhahullaah) asked Abu Yusuf Khaleefah and Abu Muhammad al-Jamaiky, “Do the other brothers from the du’aat have any bid’ah with them?” They answered, “No Shaykh, they are Salafiyoon.”

ذكر الشيخ ربيع (حفظه الله) أنه لا يرى من أحد من الطرفين أي بدعة أو ضلالة، بل يرى أن الشيطان قد دخل في الأمر و هو سبب الخلاف بين السلفيين

Shaykh Rabee’ (hafidhahullaah) mentioned that he does not see from anyone on either side any Bid’ah (innovation) or Dalaalah (misguidance). Rather, he sees that shaytaan entered between the Salafis and caused division.

ذكر الشيخ ربيع (حفظه الله) أن كلا من الطرفين سلفيون، يدعون إلى الله و قال: إن كل واحد يستمر في دعوته و يبتعد عن الأمور التي تفضي إلى اختلاف و نضع الخلاف تحت أقدامنا

Shaykh Rabee’ (hafidhahullaah) mentioned that both sides are Salafi, calling to Allah; and each side should continue giving da’wah and leave off all matters that lead to differing and put the differences under our feet.

الشيخ ربيع (حفظه الله) أمرنا كلنا بترك كل شيء يتعلق بالخلاف و أن نبدأ بصفحة جديدة بيننا

Shaykh Rabee’ (hafidhahullaah) commanded that we all drop everything that leads to differing and start with a new page between us. The Shaykh mentioned that this is for all parties involved on both sides.

الشيخ ربيع (حفظه الله) أمر بالتوقُّف عن التحذيرات و لا يذكر أحد من الطرفين الآخر إلا بالخير

Shaykh Rabee’ (hafidhahullaah) commanded that the warnings stop and that both parties only speak about each other with good.

الشيخ ربيع (حفظه الله) أمر بحذف التحذيرات كلها الموجودة عبر الإنترنت و قال: من اللازم أن تُحذف كلها، ( و أكد على الكلمة كلها حتي وضع يديه أمام وجه و رمى بهما إلى جنبه)

Shaykh Rabee’ (hafidhahullaah) commanded that any and all warnings that are online must come down and be removed. The Shaykh (hafidhahullaah) stressed all by putting both hands on his face and flinging them back.

الشيخ ربيع (حفظه الله) سأله الأخ أبو محمد الجاميكي هل تأذن لنا أن ننشر كلامكم هذا عبر الإنترنت ؟ قال: نعم انشروه

Shaykh Rabee’ (hafidhahullaah) was asked by Abu Muhammad al-Jamaiky for permission to spread his speech online. The Shaikh (hafidhahullaah) replied saying, “Spread it.”

و بعد نهاية الجلسة عمر بن الشيخ ربيع (حفظهما الله) أكد على كلام الوالد بأنه عام للطلاب الحاضرين و الغائبين

At the end of the meeting the son of Shaykh Rabee’ (hafidhahullaah) emphasized that the speech of his father is general and (applicable) to everyone; to those students who were present and to those students who were absent.
