Yahyā bin Mu’ādh رحمه الله stated:

“The one who is (rightfully) envied from amongst the people is:

•The one who leaves off (chasing) the life of this world before it leaves him.

•The one who builds his grave before he enters into it.

•The one who pleases his Lord before he meets Him.”

قال ﻳﺤﻴﻰ ﺑﻦ ﻣﻌﺎﺫ – رحمه الله

اﻟﻤﻐﺒﻮﻁ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻨﺎﺱ : ﻣَﻦ ﺗﺮﻙ اﻟﺪﻧﻴﺎ ﻗﺒﻞﺃﻥ ﺗﺘﺮﻛﻪ، ﻭﺑﻨﻰ ﻗﺒﺮﻩ ﻗﺒﻞ ﺃن ﻳﺪﺧﻠﻪ، وﺃﺭﺿﻰ ﺭﺑﻪ ﻗﺒﻞ ﺃﻥ يلقاه
