Question:
Is finishing the Qur’aan in Ramadaan considered a matter that is obligatory for the fating person?

Answer:
Finishing the Qur-aan in Ramadaan for the fasting person is not an obligatory matter. However it is befitting for the person in Ramadaan to recite the Qur-aan in abundance just as that is the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam. Jibreel use to go over the Qur-aan with him every Ramadaan.”
