It is Befitting For a Person to Always Remember Death

The Noble Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen stated:

It is befitting for the person to always remember death. Not based upon the matter of separating from the loved ones, because this is (being) short sighted. Rather it is based upon the matter of separating from the (performance of good) actions and the harvesting (of good) for the hereafter. Therefore when he looks at it with this view he prepares (himself) and increases in the actions of the hereafter.

أن يتذكر دائما الموت

العمل
والحرث للآخرة
فإنه إذا نظر هذه النظرة استعد وزاد في عمل الآخرة
