Wahb bin Munabbih رحمه الله stated:

“The life of this world and the hereafter is like a man with two wives. If he pleases one of them he angers the other.”

[Jāmi’ Al-‘Ulūm wal-Hikam 2/203]

قال وهب بن منبه – رحمه الله تعالى

إنما الدنيا والآخرة كرجل له امرأتان ، إن أرضى إحداهما أسخط الأخرى

[جامع العلوم والحكم ٢٠٣/٢]

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

“Guarantee me six things from yourself and I will guarantee you the paradise:

1. Be truthful when you speak.
2. Keep your word when you make a promise.
3. Fulfill your responsibility when you are entrusted.
4. Preserve your privates (from committing Zinā).
5. Lower your gazes (from looking at the Harām).
6. Restrain your hands (from causing unjust harm).”

Busy Yourself With The Truth Or Become Busied With Falsehood

The Noble Scholar Shaykh Muhammad bin Sa’īd Raslān حفظه الله stated:Allāh تعالى said:

{My Lord indeed I am in need of whatever good that You send down to me} [al-Qasas:24]

Some Scholars have said whoever wants to get married let him recite this abundantly for Allāh تعالى said after it:

{One of them came walking to him shyly} [al-Qasas:25]

Note: When Mūsā عليه السلام made this Du’ā asking Allāh for His good, one of the two women came to him walking shyly which was the start of the good coming to Mūsā عليه السلام which ended with him marrying one of the daughters of the righteous man he worked for who was the father of the two women.
