The great Scholar of Hadīth of this era Shaykh Al-Albānī رحمه الله stated:

“Be diligent O Muslim that you know your Islām from the Book of your Lord and the Sunnah of your Prophet. Don’t say: So and so said. Indeed the truth is not known by the men. Rather, know the truth and you will (truly) know the men!”

قال محدث العصر الإمام الألباني رحمه الله:

“فاحرص أيُّها المُسلم أن تَعرِفَ إسلامَكَ من كتاب ربِّكَ ، وسنة نَبيِّك ، ولا تَقل : قال فلان ، فإنَّ الحَقَّ لا يُعرَفُ بالرجال ، بَل اعرِف الحَقَّ تَعرِف الرجال!».
