قال الشيخ صالح السحيمي حفظه الله تعالى

Shaykh Saalih as-Suhaymee حفظه الله تعالى said:

و الداعي إلى الله يجب أن يكون

It’s incumbent that the caller to Allaah is:

عالما بما يقولعارفا بحال المدعوين

Knowledgeable about what he says and the state of those being addressed,

و ما ينبغي أن يقالو متى يقالو أين يقال

(In addition to) the what, the when, and the where to say (his speech).

مراعيا في ذلك أيضا

(All this while) also taking into account

الحكمة و المآلات و العواقب

The wisdom, outcome, and consequences (of his speech).

و الرفق و الرحمة

(This should be done with) gentleness and mercy,

اقتداء برسولنا صلى الله عليه وسلم، حيث وصفه الله سبحانه وتعالى بقوله
فبما رحمة من الله لنت لهم و لو كنت فظا غليظ القلب لانفضوا من حولك

Following our Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم wherein Allaah described him with His Saying which translates to mean: “And by the mercy of Allah you were lenient with them and had you been severe and harsh hearted they would’ve dispersed from around you (i.e abandoned you)” [Surat Aali-‘Imraan, verse 159]
