The Noble Shaykh Rabee’ Ibn Haadi al-Madkhali (may Allah preserve him) stated:

As for the fake/fraudulent Salafi, the trials and tribulations make him apparent, exposes his reality and it exposes his fraudulence. Therefore be witnesses for Allah even if it be against yourselves, your parents or close relatives.

والسلفي المزيف تظهره الفتن وتكشف حقيقته وتكشف زيفه فكونوا شهداء لّله ولو على أنفسكم أو الوالدين أو الأقربين .
