Shaykh Fawwaaz al-Madkhalee (may Allah preserve him) wrote: 

Shaykh Zayd al-Madkhalee (may Allah have mercy upon him) informed me saying, “Shaykh Ahmad an-Najmi and I, we have more than fifty years in the Da’wah (together). We have not differed in anything regarding it.” Then he said, “Shaykh Ahmad and I made Hajj together more than thirty times and alhamdulillaah no differing took place between us. Rather there was brotherhood, respect and love.”

Original Arabic

سَمِعْتُ شَيْخِي‬
حَدَّثَنِي الشَّيْخُ ” زَيْدٌ المَدْخَلِيّ ” رَحِمَهُ اللهُ قَائِلاً :
” أنَا و الشَّيْخُ ” أحْمَد النَّجْمِيّ ” ؛
لَنَا فِي الدَّعْوَةِ , أكْثَرَ مِنْ خَمْسِينَ سَنَةً ؛
مَا اخْتَلَفْنَا فِيهَا فِي شَيءٍ..! ”
ثُمَّ قَالَ :
” حَجَجْتُ أنَا و الشَّيْخُ ” أحْمَد ” أكْثَرَ مِنْ ثَلاثِينَ حَجَّةٍ ,
وَ الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ؛
لَمْ يَحْصُلْ بَيْنَنَا خِلاَفٌ ؛
بَلْ أُخُوَّةٌ , وَ تَقْدِيرٌ , وَ مَحَبَّةٌ .”
