The Noble Scholar Shaykh Nāsirud-Dīn Al-Albānī رحمه الله stated:
“By Allāh, right now I have reached the age of seventy four and I (still) fear for myself the Fitnah of the women. So how much more so for other than us from the youth.”

Criticism Without Proof
The Noble Shaykh Rabī Al-Madkhalī حفظه الله stated:
“The Scholar could make a mistake in the criticizing or praising (of a person). His brother is to correct his mistake in this. The Scholar might criticize without a valid criticism so the critiquing Scholars reject his criticism being just to the one who was criticized. There has come for you (many) examples (for this point).”

العالِم قد يُخطِئ في الجرح أو في التعديل فيصحِّح أخوه خَطَأه في هذا أو هذا، وقد يجرح العالم بغيرِ جارح فيَرُدّ العلماء النُّقّاد جَرْحَه إنصافًا لمن وقع عليه هذا الجرح، وقد مرّت بك الأمثلة

Mutarrif bin ‘Abdillah رحمه الله stated:
“It’s more beloved to me that I spend the night sleeping and wake up in the morning regretful (for not praying during the night) than me spending the night in prayer and I wake up in the morning amazed (with myself).”

The Noble Scholar Sh. Sulaymān Ar-Ruhaylī حفظه الله said:
“When a Muslim stays away from the Harām intentionally (seeking the pleasure of Allāh), this is a righteous action. A good deed is written for him and a bad deed is wiped away.”
