Prevent The Shaytān From Entering Your Heart With The Dhikr Of Allāh

Shaykhul-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله stated:

“Indeed the only thing that prevents the Shaytān from entering into the heart of the son of Ādam is that which is in it from the remembrance of Allāh which Allāh sent His Messengers with. If the heart is void of that, the Shaytān takes control of it.”

Allāh تعالى stated:

“And who turns away from the remembrance of Ar-Rahmān (The Most-Merciful) We will appoint for him a Shaytān (Devil) to be his intimate companion.”

[Az-Zukhruf(43):36]

Allāh Created Us Different So Why The Racism?!

Allāh تعالى said:

“And from His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, the difference between your languages and color. Indeed in that there’s a sign for those who know.” [Ar-Rūm:22]

There should be no racism between us, for it is Allāh who created us different.

Sadaqah Is A Proof

The Noble Scholar Shaykh Muhammad bin Hādi حفظه الله stated:

“Giving Sadaqah is a proof of one’s faith as the Prophet ﷺ stated: ‘and Sadaqah is a proof’. For that, the Munāfiq (hypocrite) doesn’t give Sadaqah because he doesn’t believe in its reward.”

Preserve Your Tongue Or Be Bankrupt

‘Umar bin ‘Abdil-‘Azīz رحمه الله stated:

“If the person who stands at night (in prayer) and fast during the day fails to preserve his tongue (from speaking evil), he will be bankrupt on the Day of Judgment.”

[At-Tamhīd of Ibn ‘Abil-Barr 17/443]

Sins Are Not Forgotten

Abud-Dardā رضي الله عنه said:

“Know that a small amount which suffices you is better than a large amount which distracts you. Know that the (acts of) righteousness never wear out and that the sin (committed) is never forgotten (by Allāh).”

[Az-Zuhd of Imām Ahmad]
