Bismillāh. Ar-Raḥmān Ar-Rahīm.
On the authority of Abu Al-Yusr Ka’b Ibn ‘Amru (may Allāh be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to supplicate with these words:
Oh Allah! I seek refuge with You from (dying due to the) destruction/collapsing (of a structure upon me). I seek refuge with You from (dying due to) deterioration. I seek refuge with You from (dying due to) drowning. I seek refuge with You from (dying due to) worry. I seek refuge with You from (dying due to) burning (alive). I seek refuge with you from (dying due to) decrepitude. I seek refuge with You from the Shayṭān taking me away (from the Straight Path) at the time of death. I seek refuge with You from dying on your path with my back turned (towards the enemy, running away from battle). I seek refuge with You from dying due to being stung/bit (by something poisonous).
